WHO AM I?
My name is Rachel Jackson. People; what they do, how they do it and why, have always fascinated me. I love to explore the ways in which people and organisations interact.
My career has been shaped by dialogue – each transition finding its routes in a specific conversation or interaction with another person. If you want to view or download a full and formal history, please click on the link to the left, or try LinkedIn to read what other people say about me.
My philosophy has grown from a slow recognition that many of the blocks I have encountered in myself, places I’ve worked and in the teams I've lead or been part of, have come down to basic flaws, distortions and deficiencies in dialogue with either myself or others. My work and my business is dedicated to building and growing these dialogues into healthy, open and productive communication through self development, understanding, respect for diversity, and increased flexibility of beliefs and capability.
I set up Changing Dialogues in Wirksworth, Derbyshire back in 2008. I have since taken the step of moving back to my own roots in Ipswich, Suffolk following the exciting and extensive (if frustrating) dialogue that is motherhood.
With my son's just coming up to school age, I am building my dialogues and stretching my wings once more so if you would like to talk to me about changing your own dialogues or the dialogues that go on around you in the workplace, now is a GREAT time to get in touch!
